Beauty is a key piece to who I am and what makes me tick. It fills my well.
Beautiful words, beautiful photos, simple bits of beauty in my home and my day. These all speak to me. Beauty looks different for each of us, but if you look at the created world we live in (not the world we’ve messed up with our waste, greed and selfishness) I think we get a hint, beauty is importance to our spirit.
The natural world, our bodies included, is beautiful. Beauty in the Woods offers an extensive range of beauty treatments in a unique and relaxing environment.
But my heart would really soar during our weekly hikes in the woods. And when I felt most scattered and in need of refreshing during the week I would drop the to-do list, tell my friends to gear up because we were “going for a walk in the woods” at one of the local parks. So during one lovely weekend I went for a walk in the woods. It was not strenuous. It was warm, but not too warm, with a light breeze. The trees protected us from the sun.
The canopy was intensely green, and the sky, peeking through, was cornflower blue. Along with enjoying the true beauty of nature I was also enjoying my friends reactions as well. One of them was so curious while walking in the muddy areas that it looked like a professional ballet dancer is practicing while standing on her toes. Me being mischievous by nature did gave her a little push as a friend & the next moment she looked like a pig taking a bath inside the pool of mud. God will surely bless me for this!
While coming back from this little trip I decided to dedicate my next photo shoot to our mother nature.
Give a little try and through my effort this time I can portray the real beauty of nature and show how gorgeous it is in every aspect.
I know that my quest for beauty, the insatiable ache it leaves in my bones, is not my heart’s true longing. I know my spirit seeks the one behind the echo of a voice. My heart does not worship the woods, but the creator of the woods. Now I realized why it is awesome to stay grounded and always be a down to earth person because the real beauty that gets connected with your soul is only found here. So let’s explore, preserve & nourish our mother nature as much as we can.
